QuickBooks Online + Truss Setup (1 Minute)
1) Connect your Truss Account in QuickBooks Online
Start in your QuickBooks dashboard. This is where you'll add Truss as a linked account.
Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
In the search bar, type "Link Accounts".
Search for "Truss" and select it from the results.
Click Continue — you'll be redirected to the Truss login portal.
2) Authorize the Connection in Your Truss Account
You'll be redirected to the Truss login page to authorize the connection.
Enter your Truss email and password.
If prompted, complete the verification step (e.g., a code sent to your email or phone).
Click Allow or Connect to complete the authorization.
3) Configure Your QuickBooks Sync Preferences in Truss
In your Truss dashboard, configure how invoices and bills sync between the two platforms.
3.1) Access Your Truss Dashboard and Open Integrations
Navigate to the Integrations settings in Truss to initiate the QuickBooks connection.
Log in to your Truss Dashboard.
Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
Click Connect QuickBooks.
3.2) Connect QuickBooks from Your Truss Integrations Settings
Once you click Connect QuickBooks, you'll be redirected to a QuickBooks authorization screen.
3.3) Sign In to Truss via the QuickBooks Authorization Screen
A QuickBooks authorization screen will appear — review the requested permissions.
Click Sign In and enter your Truss credentials to confirm.
3.4) Choose Which QuickBooks Accounts to Sync with Truss
Select the QuickBooks account types you want to sync with Truss.
Click Continue to proceed.
3.5) Map Your General Ledger Account in QuickBooks Chart of Accounts
Under General Ledger Account, select "Truss" (or your preferred account) from your QuickBooks Chart of Accounts.
Select Continue.
🎉 You're all connected!
Once complete, you'll see a "QuickBooks Connected" confirmation in Truss.
