Plaid encrypts your account information during transfers and is compatible with over 12,000 financial institutions, ensuring you can move funds regardless of your banking provider. Plaid simplifies the process of linking financial accounts to various apps and services, maintaining both security and user control over data sharing.

You also have the option to disconnect your bank account at any time. Simply click into the add funds tab from your account dashboard and click the red plug as shown below.
