How do I manually connect my bank account and verify with micro-deposits?

Manually connect your bank account and verify with micro-deposits.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. In the top right corner of the Truss dashboard, click your company name, then click 'Settings'.

  2. In settings, click 'Bank connections', then click '+ Bank account'.

  3. Continue with Plaid, then, in the 'select bank account' screen, scroll to the bottom and click 'Link with account numbers'.

  4. Here, you will be prompted to enter your bank information.

  5. Once you have entered your bank account details and selected the account that you want to link, Plaid will ask you to authorize a one-time micro-deposit in order to verify your account. To verify your bank account, click 'Authorize'.

  6. Within the next business day, Plaid will make a one-time deposit of 0.01 that will include a short verification code.

  7. When that deposit is made, return to the 'Bank connections' dashboard in the Truss settings to verify your bank account. Next to the bank account that you want to connect, click 'Verify'.

  8. Enter the three-letter code that was included in your micro-deposit, then click 'Continue'.

  9. Your bank account will now be connected to your Truss account.
