How do I add a bank account?

If your bank supports single sign-on, you can simply connect your account by logging in with your online banking credentials.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. On the left side of the Truss dashboard, click 'Accounts'.

  2. Select 'External accounts'.

  3. Click '+ Bank account'.

  4. Read the Plaid user agreement, then click 'Continue'.

  5. Select or search for your external bank account. You will then be redirected to your financial institution where you will need to enter your bank details.

  6. Select the account(s) to share with Truss and any required additional information

    Note: You may need to select additional information to share in order to verify account ownership and enable money movement. Make sure all applicable boxes are checked.

  7. Confirm account(s) to connect to your Truss account, then press 'Continue' to link the accounts.
