Payments within the Truss system are always instant. However, withdrawals into third-party bank accounts may incur processing delays. Keep reading for more details.
A) Incoming Payments: Receivables
Immediate Access to Funds from Payment Requests
You will have immediate access to funds in your Truss account when your payment requests are paid. That means you can use those funds instantaneously to
send as payables,
spend on your card and
maintain your account balance.
Settlement Time for Incoming Payments
While incoming funds are available instantaneously to use within the Truss system, funds require additional settlement time to withdraw or send to third-party bank accounts.
Incoming payments initiated before 3 pm EST will settle within 2 business days.
Incoming payments initiated after 3 p.m. EST will settle within 3 business days.
B) Outgoing Payments: Payables & Withdrawals
Sending Funds to Truss Users is Instant
When you send funds to other Truss users, they will have immediate access to the funds in their Truss account. They can also use those funds instantaneously to send as payables, spend on their card, and maintain their account balance.
Sending or Withdrawing Funds May Require Processing Time
Delays may occur when you (or someone you are sending a payment to) select to withdraw funds into a third-party bank account.
If you withdraw funds already settled in your Truss account, the deposit will arrive in your third-party account
on the same business day if initiated before 3 p.m. EST
the following business day if initiated after 3 p.m. EST.
However, if you withdraw funds that have yet to settle in your Truss account, the payment processing time may span 2-3 business days. This is due to the remaining settlement time of the funds you are withdrawing.
