Step-by-step instructions
In your email or text notification, click 'Accept Payment' button.
Click Get Started
Verify your phone number by clicking "Send SMS Code".
Enter the code texted to the phone number listed. If you are unable to receive the text message, check your spam inbox.
Here, you can see all the bill payments sent to you through Truss, and you can choose to either Accept All, or select the payments you wish to accept at this time.
If you choose to select payments, it will load all payments and auto-choose all for you. Uncheck the bills you Don't want to accept.
Double check that the amount you wish to accept is correct at the bottom and click continue
Select where you want to deposit your funds.
To instantly deposit the funds via Bank Transfer, please enter your debit card details directly through our partner Astra.
To withdraw the funds into a third-party bank account, sign in with your bank online through our trusted partner Plaid, or enter your routing information manually.
If you would prefer to receive your funds via check delivery, enter your desired mailing address into the field and add to save.
Confirm the details of your payment, and when ready, select 'Accept $xxx'
The payment is now authorized and you will be redirected to a confirmation page with a downloadable receipt.
Note:
Withdrawing funds via standard bank transfer will take between one and four business days to deposit into your selected bank account.
By connecting a bank account, the company sending the payment will only be able to send money to your account - they will not be able to pull money from your account.
Instant withdrawals have a 1.75% fee associated, however standard bank transfers and check delivery are free.
You are not required to sign up for Truss to accept a payment.
