Displaying Refunds on Your Expenses Dashboard

When you receive a refund on your Truss card, it will appear as a positive amount on your expenses dashboard. This is indicated by a "+" sign before the amount.

Impact of Refunds on Card Repayment

When a refund is processed to your Truss card, it directly impacts the amount you owe towards your card repayment. Here's how it works:

  • Deduction from Card Repayment: Any refund amount will be deducted from the total owed on your card account. This reduction is reflected immediately, decreasing the amount of the card repayment at the end of the day.

  • Daily Card Account Balance Settlement: It’s important to note that your card account balance is paid off at the end of each day using the funds available in your cash account. Refunds contribute to reducing the amount withdrawn from your cash account for these settlements.

Handling Excess Refunds

There might be instances where the refund amount exceeds what you owe on your card account. In such cases, the following occurs:

  • Credit to Your Card Account: The excess refund amount will be credited to your card account. This will be displayed as a negative balance due, indicating a surplus that you can utilize in future transactions.
