Reporting Unauthorized Card Transactions

How to handle unauthorized transactions on your Truss card.

Updated this week

Freeze Card

Freeze your card in the Truss dashboard immediately if you suspect unauthorized transactions.

Suspicious Transactions

If the Visa network marks a transaction as potentially suspicious, you may receive a Visa card fraud alert in the form of a phone call, text, and/or email. The card will be automatically frozen until a response is received. If you are unsure whether a message from Visa is legitimate, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] to confirm.

If you recognize the transaction, confirm it as a valid purchase. This will unfreeze the card so you can attempt the purchase again.

If you do not recognize the transaction, mark it as invalid through those communications as soon as possible. The card will remain frozen until a response is received.

Report Unauthorized Transactions

Contact Visa Support as soon as possible at the number on the back of your Truss card, 1-833-333-0417.

Be prepared to provide the following:

  • Your name and card number

  • A description of the error or the transaction you are unsure about and explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information

  • The dollar amount

Visa will open a dispute investigation into unauthorized transactions. Note investigations may take up to 90 days to be fully resolved. You may reach out to Truss any time to inquire about the status of your dispute.

Replace Your Card

Replace that card number with any vendors or subscriptions where it may have been on file. New physical and virtual cards can be created from your Truss dashboard.
