How to disable Quickbooks Online online credit card and ACH payments

Trying to skip the fee when making payments through QBO? Disabling this method is quick and easy.

If you're looking to disable the credit card and ACH payments made possible through Quickbooks Online to get paid through Truss, we're here to help you do just so.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Once you are logged into your QBO account, select the 'Settings' gear icon in the top right corner, and then 'Account and Settings' under 'Your company'

  2. Select 'Sales' on the left side of your dashboard.


  3. Click the pencil icon on the right of 'Invoice payments' to edit your settings.

  4. Disable both 'Accept Credit Cards' and 'Accept ACH,' you will also have the option to create an automated message prompt for how you would like to accept payments.

  5. Once your settings are updated, click 'Save' and then 'Done' in the bottom right corner.
