What are the different Truss user permission levels?

Truss permission tiers allow you to cater to different roles and responsibilities within your workflow.

Truss has the following permission tiers, each with their own unique feature access:

Admins

This permission tier has full access to everything in Truss.

Admins can also manage synced QuickBooks Online invoices.

  • Cash account: Full access

  • Card account: Full access

  • Payments: Full access

  • User settings: Full access


Bookkeeper

Bookkeepers can also manage synced QuickBooks Online invoices.

  • Cash account: Limited access

    • View only, cannot withdraw or deposit funds.

  • Card account: Full access

  • Payments: Limited access

    • Can create payments, but require admin approval to send.

  • User settings: Limited access

    • Can view company users, but can't send invites


Sales Representative

  • Cash account: Limited access

    • Can only deposit checks, cannot view the Cash account or withdraw funds.

  • Card account: Limited access

    • Can only view their own cards and expenses.

  • Payments: Limited access

    • Can create payment requests and only view payments they created.

  • User settings: No access


Project Manager

  • Cash account: No access

  • Card account: Limited access

    • Can view all cards but can only update cards they own.

  • Payments: Limited access

    • Can only view payments.

  • User settings: No access


Employee

  • Cash account: No access

  • Card account: Limited access

    • Can only view their own cards and expenses.

  • Payments: No access

  • User settings: No access
