Collecting Payments on Pre-Integration Invoices in QuickBooks

Payment links are not retroactively added to invoices created before the integration.

To share payment links with customers:

  1. Open the Invoice: Locate the specific invoice in Truss and open it.

  2. Use "Remind Customer": Select the "Remind Customer" option within the invoice.

  3. Send the Reminder: The reminder email will include the payment link, allowing your customer to pay the outstanding amount.

Repeat for Additional Invoices

If there are multiple outstanding invoices, repeat the above process for each invoice individually.

Future Improvements

We understand that this process can be time-consuming, especially for businesses with many outstanding invoices. We are actively exploring ways to streamline this process, including potential bulk actions or toggles during integration to retroactively send payment links for all unpaid invoices. Stay tuned for updates as we work to enhance this feature.
