Adding a payment portal to your website can be a great way to streamline the payment process and make it easier for your customers to pay you. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to add a payment portal to your website.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. In the Truss dashboard, click on your company logo in the top right corner, then click 'Settings'.

  2. In settings, click 'Business', then copy your Payment Portal Link. To learn more about how to activate and use your Payment Portal Link, click here.

  3. Now, transitioning over to the website for your construction business, add code or create a new button using your website builder. Name the button something along the lines of "Pay Invoices Here", or "Payment Portal Login". You can add the payment button anywhere you desire, however, make sure that it is easy for your customers to find.

  4. Once the button has been created in your desired location, use your Truss Payment Portal Link as the redirect link for the button. This way, when a customer clicks on your checkout button they will be directed to your Truss payments portal where they can login to seamlessly pay their outstanding invoices.

  5. Before you start accepting payments through the link embedded on your website, be sure to test that the button is redirecting clients to your payment portal as desired.
