How to add a contact in Truss:

  1. Add them as part of a new transaction

  2. Add them manually from your dashboard

  3. Accept a Truss payment from them


1. Add them as part of a new transaction:

When requesting or sending money, a new contact can be added with the '+ New Customer' button if they are not already in your dropdown list of contacts.

2. Add them manually from your dashboard:

Contacts can be added manually at any time.

  1. On the left side of the Truss dashboard, click 'Customers' or 'Vendors'.

  2. On the top right corner of the contacts dashboard, click '+ New contact'.

3. Accept a Truss payment from them:

Once you accept payment from another Truss user, they are automatically added to your contact list. This method requires no action from you.


How do I edit my contact's information?

  • If your customer or vendor needs to change their contact information:

    • Click on the respective tab on your Truss Dashboard (Customer or Vendor)

    • Locate their contact and click it

    • Right next to "Details" click the edit button

    • Change the information your contact requested and make sure to click "Save Changes" before you leave

    • Confirm that the changes were made
