How to automate invoice emails with other project management softwares

Using JobTread or BuilderTrend (or any other project management/CRM softwares) and Quickbooks Online? Streamline your workflow with automated invoices to get paid faster.

Automated invoices are helpful when you use other tools and want to be able to send off your invoices in one step. With a Quickbooks Online integration, you can create your invoices in your project management apps and send your invoices in one go.

If you haven't already set up your Quickbooks Online Integration, read this article here. Once we're connected to QuickBooks Online, which is already connected to your other software, all three will work together in unison (and won't duplicate anything in QuickBooks!).

  1. In your Settings > Integration, you should see the "Automated Invoices" toggle as "on":

2. In your Settings > Notifications, toggle on the Invoice Reminder global notification as well.

  • This will allow your customers to receive the Truss "Accept Payment" Email as seen below:
